This series of four short videos describes basic concepts relating to the Persons with Disabilities Rights and Protection Act, 2013 using Bangla sign language and closed captioning, in order to make this information more readily available to persons who are deaf or hard of hearing. They cover: the specific enumerated rights recognized by the Act, the five committees created by the Act and the process for filing applications for compensation for rights violations under Section 36, the criminal offenses and corresponding punishments established under Section 37 of the Act, and how to use the Right to Information Act and National Human Rights Commission to promote implementation of the Persons with Disabilities Rights and Protection Act, 2013.
